…and your album isn’t one of them
If you’re feeling insecure or unsure about your body, a boudoir shoot might seem like the very LAST thing you’d want to do to regain your confidence. But that couldn’t be further from the truth. We’re a broken record when it comes to this one, but we’ve been around long enough to know that a boudoir shoot has the ability to change a women’s confidence level almost instantly.
Confidence is the feeling of being aware and certain in something. In this case, yourself. Being aware of who you are and having faith in your abilities. You are your biggest critic, so no one else has the power to tell you that you can’t do something.
Once your nerves melt away (and they will, trust us), you’ll forget about everything else and focus on how much fun you’re having during the shoot. This is a time to celebrate all that you are, and embrace your body for all that is. No apologies, no excuses.
Our clients are lawyers, teachers, wives, stay at home moms, and everything in-between. The one thing that most of them forget? They’re WOMEN. Beautiful, sexy women that just happen to moonlight as those other titles. Our clients are women first, but it’s easy to forget who they are between kids soccer games and corporate meetings.
A boudoir shoot allows our clients to put everything else aside and focus on who they are behind closed doors when there are no other distractions. It’s a way to reclaim their identity and to get in touch with a side of themselves that hasn’t been explored in awhile.
Our studio is a safe place for women to let go of titles and expectations and just be themselves.
Feeling good about your boudoir shoot? Have a little extra spring in your step when you leave the studio? Good! You should be so proud of yourself for breaking out of your comfort zone and celebrating yourself in such a big way!
Want to share your photos with your closest girlfriends? Great. Want to post one as your profile picture? Even better. Our point is that you shouldn’t feel like loving your photos or your experience is vanity. Loving yourself is an act of self-care.
A boudoir shoot is all about the experience. Having gorgeous images of yourself? That’s just a bonus.
