This was my second shoot with Brittany, and I’m sad that I waited so long to photograph her again. The first time I worked with Brittany, I was a bit of a ‘fan girl’. Brittany was an actress in a spoof video with local funnyman, Craigness and it was love at first sight for me. She was a bit of a bad ass, and we all know how much I love #badBitches, so when the opportunity came up to photograph her, of course I said yes. Hell yes, I believe was the term I used.
My makeup artist at the time, Ria, wanted to practice some special effects so we hiked out to this abandoned shed on the Northwest Arm and photographed Brittany as a corpse, full of fake blood and bruises. It was an interesting concept and the three of us had a blast shooting it.
Brittany and I stayed in touch and discussed shooting again, however our schedules never aligned until last month when I was working on some new boudoir concepts and she had a free evening. Brittany’s partner, Clarke played Assistant that evening and we got to create magic once again.
For this particular shoot, I was trying to work on my timing as well as a few new poses that I learned during my workshop with Christa Meola as well as a few techniques I learned from #doMoreWearLess photographers Last Forty Percent. Variety was one of the techniques that Christa wanted me to work on, so this was the perfect opportunity.
Thanks so much Brittany and Clarke for a great evening! Hair/makeup by Brittany.
